About Our Turkeys

The Turkey's we have are broad breasted white's. We obtained from a local farm at 6 weeks of age. Turkey chicks are very difficult to raise so purchasing them at an older age ensures our success of live animals all the way to finish.

What do they eat?
|
Turkeys are moved daily in their poultry tractors to fresh forages. They are supplemented with a gmo free grain. They enjoy their days eating bugs, soaking up some sunshine and flapping their awkward wings about. They like to talk to you too when you are moving and feeding them.

Market Ready
|
Turkeys come whole. We try to get them in the 15-20 lb. range processed. We use a local processor in Homer, MI, Stutzman's Poultry Processing, for all of our poultry processing needs. They do a very nice job all the way around with processing and packaging the birds in air tight shrink wrap plastic.
